Coaching & Consulting
Coaching
Coaching is different from psychotherapy. While both aim to help individuals enhance their lives, they operate distinctively in their approaches, focuses, and intended outcomes. Coaching focuses on goal-setting, personal development, and achieving specific goals. Coaching sessions are action driven, providing compassionate support for clients as they develop strategies, make decisions, and manage transitions. Coaching is usually short-term, or on an as-needed basis. While I’m licensed to practice psychotherapy for individuals living in PA or NJ, my coaching practice extends to clients residing in any state. I offer coaching support in the following areas:
Decision-Making Support: Helping individuals explore and clarify their feelings, values, and goals around parenthood—including the choice to pursue single parenting.
Fertility Coaching: Supporting individuals and couples through the emotional, relational, and logistical complexities of fertility treatments, family-building decisions, and uncertainty.
Managing Mom Burnout: Supporting overwhelmed mothers in creating space for rest, redefining expectations, and building sustainable routines that honor their needs.
Life After Baby: Navigating the identity shifts, relationship changes, and emotional adjustments that often come with new parenthood.
Solo Parenting Support: Providing guidance and encouragement for single parents as they juggle responsibilities, self-care, and long-term planning.
Work-Life Recalibration: Helping parents assess priorities and make informed choices around returning to work, changing careers, or setting boundaries.
Managing Gender Disappointment: Offering a safe, nonjudgmental space to process unexpected emotions related to a baby’s gender and reconnect with your hopes for parenthood.
Building a Support System: Identifying ways to create or strengthen community, ask for help, and reduce isolation.
